Modern Apprenticeship programme launch

The University has launched the 2018 Modern Apprentice Programme, and is inviting schools and departments to take part.

Hiring apprentices or training up existing staff helps teams with succession planning whilst developing individuals with the specific skills needed to build their careers.

It is a cost effective hiring solution which can free up existing staff to take on more responsibility and bring new experiences and ideas to supplement your current team.

The scheme is one of the main components of the University’s recently launched Youth and Student Employment Strategy.
