Childcare web pages update

The University’s web pages have recently been updated to provide information about the UK government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme, which was launched in April 2017.

The Tax-Free Childcare scheme enables eligible working parents to make savings on childcare costs by paying into an online childcare account. The government then adds contributions to these, which are used to pay a registered childcare provider. 

Employees will continue to have the option to join the University’s Childcare Voucher scheme until April 2018.
