New Legal Services department
The Edinburgh Research & Innovation (ERI) Legal team has joined Legal Services based within the University Secretary's Group (USG).
The ERI team bring a wealth of institutional knowledge and significant expertise in the area of research and commercialisation and, together with the existing team, will create a strong University legal team able to respond effectively to the diverse legal needs of the University.
The new team will be led by Leigh Chalmers, Director of Legal Services.
University Secretary's Group
USG is one of three administrative support groups in the University and is led by Sarah Smith, University Secretary.
It covers the following areas:

- Internal Audit
- International Office
- Legal Services
