Lifetime Achievement Award for Professor Peter Sandercock

The UK Stroke Forum has honoured Professor Peter Sandercock, Chair of Medical Neurology in the Centre for Brain Sciences, with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Bestowed by the Forum’s Steering Committee, the award specifically recognises an individual for their long-term commitment to the field of stroke medicine.

The UK Stroke Forum is an alliance of more than 30 organisations dedicated to the improvement of care for stroke survivors.

Professor Sandercock was unanimously awarded this inaugural special accolade for his immense contribution to stroke research and his dedication to the stroke community.

He will receive the award at the tenth Anniversary Stroke Forum in Liverpool today.
