Sustainability Awards open

Registration is now open for Edinburgh’s 2014-15 Sustainability Awards.

The annual awards offer staff and students the opportunity to make their places of work and study more socially responsible and sustainable.

They are staged by the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability and EUSA.

How to register

Teams from any department, laboratory, student society or student residence across the University can enter.

Entrants take incremental steps towards achieving gold, silver and bronze status. Actions and milestones are recorded using an online toolkit.

Participants will receive support from the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability throughout the process.

The University Website Programme team would wholeheartedly recommend taking part in the Sustainability Awards. The tasks are fun and easy to complete and the process helped pull the team closer together.

Review and feedback

A team of trained staff and student volunteer auditors will visit entrants in March/April 2015 to review completed toolkits and provide feedback.

An awards ceremony will be held on 22 April 2015.
