Staff on the move for charity

Staff from across the University are to be put through their paces for charity.

A team of research and support staff will take part in the Team Relay event at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival.

The relay will be held on 26 May and participants hope to raise at least £2,000 for the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research.

Innovative research

Motor neurone disease is a debilitating disease that leads to muscle weakness, ultimately paralysis, and is usually fatal within a few years. There are currently no effective treatments.

The Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research is committed to defeating the disease through fundamental innovative research.
