New e-recruitment system launches

Human Resources, in partnership with Information Services, is to launch a new eRecruitment system, which will modernise recruitment at the University.

The web-based application, accessible through My Ed, will integrate, align and significantly improve recruitment administration and processes for recruiters.

Applicant experience

The system will greatly enhance the applicant experience and candidates will be able to view and apply for vacancies through the new University Jobs Website.

Viewing internal vacancies will be restricted to University staff only and to do so staff should register their details on the site once it becomes live.

Timescales

The eRecruitment administrative system will be available to recruiting staff from 8 October.

Applicants will be able to register their details and apply for vacancies from 15 October 2012.

A second phase of eRecruitment is planned for early 2013, which will deliver additional enhancements once the new system is embedded.

Support and training

Training sessions for the new system are available for booking through MyEd. They can be accessed via the Providers drop down list for Human Resources.

User manuals will be available on the Human Resources website from 5 October.

Staff with any queries about the eRecruitment system should contact their local HR team.

For technical support, contact the HR Business Systems team.
