Award for HR coordinator

Linsay McKeown, HR Coordinator with Accommodation Services, has been honoured for providing a first-class HR administration service.

Ms McKeown received the award of HR Assistant/HR Officer of the Year at the 2011 HR NETWORK National Awards.

Rigorous process

The HR Coordinator was nominated for the award by her manager Lee-Anne Goodbrand, Senior HR Adviser with Accommodation Services.

She went through a rigorous selection process before she was announced as the winner at the awards ceremony.

Ms McKeown has worked at the University in her role as Accommodation Services’ HR Coordinator since May 2008.

She is based within a team of five, which provides a professional HR and learning and development service to a department of approximately 550 staff.

This award recognises the tremendous quality of work done by Linsay and it reflects well on the standard of professionalism throughout HR within the University.
