Tackling plagiarism

The University is holding an event to discuss issues and strategies relating to cultural matters and plagiarism.

The event will look at the influence of students’ cultural backgrounds on the understanding and avoidance of plagiarism.

There will also be discussion about strategies for deterring plagiarism among an international student community.

Dr Charles Juwah from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen will give a talk.

The event will be of particular interest to staff members with a key role in programme organisation or in student training or support roles.
