Papal visit: road closures

Staff are reminded that there may be travel disruption on 16 September as a result of the city visit by Pope Benedict XVI.

Road closures and parking restrictions will be put in place in many different parts of the city.

Staff attendance

Staff are advised to, where possible, make alternative travel plans or parking arrangements to ensure that attendance at work is not affected.

Where issues are identified that might affect someone’s ability to attend work on 16 September, employees are advised to speak to their manager about either taking a day’s leave or working from a different location, where this is possible.
