The programme - which runs from 5 to 20 April 2025 - features academics from the University delivering a range of events including guided walks, lab visits, workshops and talks.
Among the highlights is an interactive session at the Bayes Centre delving into one of the innovative ways scientists explore the farthest reaches of space – by listening to galaxy data.
Elsewhere, attendees of a drop-in session at the National Museum of Scotland can learn a language not spoken anywhere in the world by taking part in research into universal patterns in human languages.
A discussion event at the Bayes Centre will look at how doctors and scientists are using light-based technologies in healthcare, from diagnostic imaging to non-invasive surgical procedures.
