Edinburgh awarded Employer Champion status

The University has been designated as an Employer Champion by the Science Council for its support of its scientific staff.

By becoming an Employer Champion, the University has set out its commitment to Science Council professional standards, investing in its staff and having their skills and competence recognised.

The Employer Champion programme provides a package of support for employers that have made the commitment to support their scientific staff to become professionally registered.

Professional registration provides a framework for developing talent and rewarding high standards at all levels of the science workforce.
