How you will learn

Our programme is delivered through a virtual learning environment that provides you with access to a broad range of learning materials.

Online learning is extremely flexible allowing you to study conveniently around your busy schedule. The majority of our students are also working while they study online with us.

Our Programme

Each course is made up of four to six themed topics with specific learning outcomes. You will be set both independent and collaborative assignments. Online teaching sessions are designed to allow you to access them in real time or at a time convenient to you.

Web based activities and forums allow you to engage with tutors and other students in critical, academic discourse around clinical trial practice and management.

 

Support

You will have 24/7 access from anywhere with an internet connection so you can study at your own pace, suiting your own learning style. The University has a wealth of online courses and the latest in online learning tools and technology.

Our programme is delivered and assessed completely online through our virtual learning environment with access to a wide range of resources.

Student Advisor

Our current students can also contact our Student Advisor if they have questions about study interruptions, special circumstances, extensions advice and application guidance, or need support for mental and physical wellbeing and registering with the Disability and Learning support service. You will be connected to our Student Advisor once you've matriculated.

Assessment

For each course, your final mark will be based on:

  • your participation in online discussions and seminars
  • an individual written project
  • reflective writing
  • a group project which in some cases will be peer-assessed

To be awarded an MSc you will also need to submit a dissertation.
