Liberate the Classroom: A Project Myopia Workshop

The aims of the workshop is to introduce the concept of decolonisation and its continued relevance in the day-to-day of university experience.

From this goal, the 2-hour-workshop will be divided into discussions on how best to promote an inclusive and safe learning environment in the classroom, and on actions for change using examples drawn from student experiences.

We will also explore the safeguarding policies and procedures at your institution to ensure you are equipped to provide a safe and intellectually productive classroom environment.

This event has been funded by our School Staff & Student-Led EDI Grants. These are an annual School-funded initiative to support and encourage EDI activities within the School.
