She will also briefly discuss some of the wider issues around qualitative synthesis such as how to search and appraise study quality. 

Ruth is Director of SCPHRP and a Reader in Public Health in the School of Health in Social Science. She has been involved in public health research for over 20 years and specialises in systematic review methodology and complex interventions.
