Postgraduate programmes

Interested in outdoor, environmental and sustainability education? Our programmes allow you to focus in a specific area while also learning and developing professional connections with colleagues across the range of programmes.

Outdoor and Environmental Education Programmes (MSc/PgDip/PgCert)

The Outdoor and Environmental Education (OEE) Programmes commence with a compulsory induction on Monday 4 September 2023 at 10AM BST.

The first academic course begins on Wednesday 6 September 2023 at 9AM BST.

It is recommended that you arrive a minimum of 2-3 business days before induction and allow sufficient time to comply with any COVID-19 restrictions you may have to meet.

OEE Timetable

Please note if you require a visa to study in the UK, your CAS will state the start date of the programme as 6 September 2023, but your visa will allow you to enter the UK in good time to comply with COVID restrictions and attend the induction days from 4 September 2023.

Outdoor Education

Outdoor Education programmes are geared towards those interested in adventure education, expeditions, personal and social development through outdoor experiences, and environmental education.

Our Outdoor Environmental and Sustainability Education programmes focus on environmental and sustainability education, particularly in the informal and non-formal sector.

Learning for Sustainability

Our Learning for Sustainability programmes seek to develop the competency and capacity for educators to integrate sustainability into their curricula and/or lesson plans.
