Music graduate wins prestigious competition

A Music graduate has won joint first prize at the L’Espace du Son 2012 competition in Brussels.

Louise Rossiter, who gained an MMus in Composition with Distinction this year, performed a number of pieces of acoustic music over a large loudspeaker diffusion system. She beat off competition from a number of countries and her winning performance included Pete Stollery’s Shortstuff and music by Gilles Gobeil.
