Veterinary Students' Council

Among the functions of the Veterinary Students' Council (VSC) is the duty to represent the students of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in its relations with the School Council and to provide delegates to sit on Senate, School, and Student Teaching Consultation committees and in all matters affecting their interests at local, national, and international levels.  The VSC meet monthly to take student matters forward on behalf of the BVM&S cohort.  Senior staff such as the Director of Learning & Teaching and the Director of student affairs are present at these meetings.   They are joined by the Student Relationship Manager whose role is to support students and the student support management group in matters concerning the BVM&S student experience.  Further information can be found on the dedicated boards on level 1 outside the teaching organisation within the school.  Today many of the student business discussions are conducted throught the official VSC Facebook group.
