You can find out about student life in Edinburgh from the people who know it best: our staff and students.

You can also explore the campus, learn more about the range of degrees available and ask questions about admissions, accommodation and job prospects.

2016 Open Days

For students considering entry to the University from September 2017, we hold three undergraduate Open Days in 2016:

  • Friday 17 June 2016
  • Saturday 24 September 2016
  • Saturday 8 October 2016

Booking will be available for these Open Days at least six weeks in advance of the event.

Can't make an Open Day?

If you can't make one of our Open Days, you can take advantage of our other opportunities to visit the University.


Our student-led campus tours are ideal for students and their families who are unable to attend an Open Day.

Post-offer visits

If you receive an offer of admission from us, you may be invited to attend a post-offer visiting day. These days typically take place between February and April.

You will have the opportunity to meet with academic staff from your chosen subject area, tour the facilities and attend general information sessions.
