Staff from our Institute for Academic Development (IAD) will provide information about studying online as well as what masters level study is like and some of the key skills necessary to succeed at postgraduate level.

Online distance learning (ODL) students can access a range of English Language Education (ELE) self-study materials, fully accessible online through the University website. These language materials include: 'Effective English Learning' and ‘Grammar for Academic Writing'.

This short session will show you the various resources available on our website and recommend some other websites that may be useful in supporting your academic study.
