Instructor Courses receive A+ Audit
Sport & Exercise has received top marks in the annual audit of our YMCA Instructor Course offering.
Sport & Exercise is an approved YMCA Centre and delivers various CIMSPA-endorsed instructor courses throughout the year.
Gym Instructor (Level 2)
Develops the knowledge and skills to engage, facilitate, educate and support clients in a gym or health club environment. By completing this qualification participants meet the industry requirements to become a Gym Instructor, as set out within the CIMSPA professional standard.
Indoor Cycling Instructor (Level 2)
Enables learners to teach a fun, safe, effective, indoor cycling studio class and meet the CIMSPA professional standards for a Group Indoor Cycling Instructor.
2023 Audit
Each year our course delivery is audited by an external YMCA examiner. This year we have received our best ever annual audit report. The External Examiner has awarded Sport & Exercise ‘low-risk’ status and marked us as 'fully compliant with no follow up tasks.' This is the best outcome possible from the audit which includes a review of governance, delivery and assessment arrangements, and quality assurance.
I am delighted to inform you that every section of this report, and overall, are fully compliant and low risk - please thank everyone involved for the part they have played in achieving this outcome.
