Background

After graduating in Spain, Alicia moved to England and worked as a veterinary surgeon in general practice for two years. Alicia's passion for learning and professional development motivated her to pursue a master’s degree in veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia and complete an internship in anaesthesia at a small animal referral hospital in southern England.

Alicia is currently pursuing her passion for veterinary medicine at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, where she is enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. She also holds a position as an ECVAA Resident in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Her love for animals and passion for medicine inspired her to utilise her knowledge, experience, skills, and energy to improve animal welfare and treatment.
