Training programme overview
Overview of the staff training programme for the lecture recording rollout.
A programme of training and resources was delivered from June 2017 to September 2018 to help users of the service prepare for, deliver and enhance recorded lectures using Media Hopper Replay.
The programme catered for a wide audience and covered a range of topics, events and delivery methods to offer flexibility. Users were encouraged to access online resources or attend a face-to-face session for each topic in the training programme detailed below.
Training and support from October 2018
From October 2018, Media Hopper Replay training has moved from 'project' to 'business as usual' status. Demand for training has decreased as users around the University are now using the service so while events continue to run, courses cover fewer topics and run less frequently than before.
Online resources
The training and guidance web pages continue to provide a one-stop support hub from which users can access all support resources and book onto events from a single place. There are many resources available including staff and student guidance for using the Media Hopper Replay system and resources from our training courses.
Face-to-face sessions
Face-to-face sessions on Recording and publishing lectures using Media Hopper Replay give users chance to learn about the lecture recording system. Places can be booked via the webpages or the Lecture Recording Event Booking channel.
Very helpful and user-friendly system which made the training session nice and straightforward.
