Miro Boards
Boards are flexible canvases for collaboration that sit within Teams, providing a versatile space where various tools can be employed for productive working. Users can create boards in the 'Playground' team, offering a space for creative exploration and collaborative ideation.
- Sign in to Miro via Single Sign-On at: https://miro.com/sso/login/
- In the Team where you wish to create the Board, click the 'New board' option (or one of the many templates for a quick start!) as shown in the screenshot. You can create boards in the Playground Team.

Sharing a Board
- Sign in to Miro via Single Sign-On at: https://miro.com/sso/login/
- In the Team where the Board is stored, hover over the Board you wish to share and click the ellipses for options as shown in the screenshot.
- The 'Share' button will be at the top.
Note: For sharing with other users within the University of Edinburgh, please use their UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH LOGIN (Formerly EASE) username in the uun@ed.ac.uk format. For example: jbloggs@ed.ac.uk
Moving a Board
- In the Team where the Board is stored, hover over the Board you wish to share and click the ellipses for options.
- The 'Move to team' option is near the bottom.
- The Board will now be stored in the Team you selected.
Note: Depending on the Team Settings, some sharing options may not be available in that Team.

What is a Project?
A Project is essentially a folder for your Boards which allows you to organise/categorise your Boards.
How to create a Project
- Sign in to Miro via Single Sign-On at: https://miro.com/sso/login/
- On the left-hand side menu, you'll see a 'Projects' section as shown in the screenshot. Click the '+' icon to the right to create a Project.
- To move Boards to the Project, hover over the Board and click the ellipses for options. The 'Move to Project' option is near the bottom.
