Research assistant
I am a behavioural ecologist with an interest in how wild animal populations respond to environmental change. My research uses a multidisciplinary approach, integrating remotely sensed data, derived primarily from multispectral imagery and LiDAR sensor systems, with field-based observations to test various ecological hypotheses.
I completed a BSc Animal Biology at Edinburgh Napier University (2013 - 2017), a MSc Evolutionary & Behavioural Ecology at University of Exeter (2017 - 2018), and a PhD in the Institute of Ecology and Evolution at the Australian National University (2019 - 2023). Currently, I am a freelance research assistant in the Kruuk Group at University of Edinburgh, where I collaborate on long-term individual-based studies of red deer (Isle of Rum, Scotland), Soay sheep (St Kilda, Scotland), and superb fairy-wrens (Canberra, Australia).
