Students and staff are invited to nominate members of the University community for a Principal’s Medal.
The Principal typically awards up to five medals each year to staff and students who have delivered exceptional service to both the University and our wider community. Medal winners demonstrate strong alignment to the University’s values.
Last year, six medals were awarded to two students, three individual staff members and one staff team. This was in recognition of their efforts to build community amongst postgraduate students, transform team culture and coach swimming stars.
Each year I am impressed by the outstanding contributions made by our students and staff in service to the University and our wider communities. Please consider nominating your fellow students or staff members to recognise the fantastic work they do or highlight their extraordinary achievements.
Professor Sir Peter Mathieson
Principal and Vice-Chancellor
