The University of Edinburgh Research Strategy
The University Research Strategy
The University Research Strategy is a statement of intent to show external stakeholders, funders, donors and philanthropists what we want to do – and how they can be part of it. This Strategy is intended to be accessible, high level and complementary to the new University Strategic Plan. It covers the development themes of the Strategic Plan and shows areas where they are relevant to research. It has been acknowledged and accepted by the Research Policy Group, the Central Management Group and Researcher Experience Committee.
The University is committed to continuously developing its staff and students, the environment in which they work and the progression of research for public good. We will work to answer the great breaking questions of the twenty first century across all disciplines and through partnerships with others. Research is international, collaborative and inclusive, as this strategic vision reflects.
