The ten universities in the UK that conduct the highest number of animal research procedures have released their figures for 2016.

All of the universities concerned make their animal research statistics freely available on their websites as part of an ongoing commitment to transparency and openness.

Figures were released as part of an ongoing commitment towards greater openness about animal research.
