Background
YUAN Fasen graduated with a master degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Zhejiang Normal University in 2013. He became a full time Chinese teacher of the Headquarter of Confucius Institute and joined Fudan University the same year.
He worked as a volunteer teacher in the University of Yaounde II, Cameroon, Africa (2011-2012), and has taught in Fudan University since 2013. He spent two years as a Chinese Language teacher in La Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador, South America (2014-2016). He joined the Confucius Institute for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh in January 2017.
