Veronica Davey

Lecturer in Medical Education

Background

Veronica works as a Lecturer in Medical Education. She works predominantly on the Clinical Educator Programme where she supports a faculty of medical educators to  acquire knowledge and develop skills in teaching and learning. In addition, Veronica co-ordinates and helps to deliver a mandatory year five MBChB module that supports the development of medical students as educators. She plays a role in the annual Edinburgh Summer School in Clinical Education and she mentors on the Edinburgh Teaching award. 

She worked previously as Teaching Fellow on the Clinical Management of Pain MSc Programme where she helped deliver an online learning curriculum. Her clinical background is as a specialist nurse in pain management.
