Background
- 2013 – 2014: Postdoctoral fellow. Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India. In Dr Rakesh Mishra’s group, studied the behavioural and epigenetic changes in adult zebrafish after chronic alcohol exposure.
- 2006 – 2013: PhD in yeast molecular biology. Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India. Studied the regulation of RNA polymerase III transcription in the context of chromatin, in particular, the role of histone chaperone Asf1 in transcription and its genome-wide localization.
- 2004 – 2006: MSc in Biochemistry. GBP University of Agriculture and Technology. Developed DNA-based RAPD markers for the assessment of genetic variation among bamboo cultivars found in the Northern India.
