Miriam Merin is a Ph.D. student in Counselling Studies. Her research focuses on emotional geographies, psychoanalytic theory, and higher education. In addition to her studies, Ms. Merin is an associate psychodynamic psychotherapist in Northern Virginia and a research fellow at the Johns Hopkins Institute for Education Policy.
