Background

I am a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Edinburgh. I was previously a Postdoc in the Department of Psychology at Yale University (2019-2021) and the Princeton University Center for Human Values (2018). I completed my PhD in Psychology at the University of Queensland in 2018. 

Research summary

My research is in both developmental and social psychology and I am broadly interested morality and moral development. I am currently working on topics related to moral circle expansion, unusually altruistic groups, effective altruism, artificial intelligence, attitudes towards food technology/cultured meat, and why we think natural things are good.
