Background

Kirsty's focus is on digital collections and their discovery, digital making, curation, scholarship and preservation.

She has worked in museums, archives and libraries for over 20 years. She previously worked at Historic Environment Scotland (formerly RCAHMS) where she was responsible for collections and data which included the development of Canmore https://canmore.org.uk/

Kirsty is involved with the RLUK Digital Scholarship Working Group, Liber Digital Humanities Working Group, Digital Preservation Coalition: Advocacy and Communication Working Group and an active member of the GLAM Labs community.
