Reporting and Portfolio Manager


As Reporting and Portfolio Manager, Kate's key areas of responsibility are:

  • The coordination of the Bayes Centre and College of Science and Engineering (CSE) Data-Driven Innovation (DDI) programme Talent KPI outcomes - including engagement with academic colleagues to inform academic delivery plans and School strategic planning to ensure a collective delivery in accordance with DDI programme ambition;
  • The institution-wide management of the Bayes Continuing Professional and Workforce Development funding portfolio - including reporting to funders (such as Scottish Funding Council) on student/learner numbers and maximising benefit from funding; and,
  • Leadership in the mapping and reporting of all Bayes Centre Talent KPIs - including identifying contributing Data-Driven Innovation-related activities across the College and producing and presenting reports demonstrating our College progress towards the targets.

Kate represents the Bayes Centre (and CSE) on the DDI Reporting and Ways of Working Community of Practice, responsible for influencing the development of corporate systems and ways of working in support of all DDI Talent, Research, Adoption, Data and Entrepreneurship programme objectives; while also working to ensure that DDI-related activities are adequately, appropriately and accurately captured and reported both internally (e.g. to University’s Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Schools and Colleges), and externally to Council and Government.
