Job Description

Leading the development, implementation and regular review of an integrated marketing, engagement and communication strategy on behalf of the School of History, Classics and Archaeology. Providing specialist advice and support to enable effective communication and promotion of all School activities to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, effectively managing the Marketing & Communications team to deliver high-quality work.

Key Duties

  • Work with senior management in the School to identify marketing and student recruitment priorities and objectives
  • Lead the development and delivery of tailored marketing and communications strategies and campaigns for the School
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the School’s market and audiences and the wider sector
  • Oversee the School’s student recruitment activities, market research, advertising, print publications and applicant/offer-holder communications
  • Contribute to the School’s web and social media presence
  • Represent the School in University and College meetings, where appropriate
  • Budget management
