Background

I have completed my PhD in Psychology at the University of Edinburgh in September 2023. I examined how, when, and for what, social media users (Twitter and Quora) invoke the categories "North Indian" and "South Indian" in mundane conversations.

My broad research interests are in categorisation practices, prejudice, and analysis of social media use. Additionally, I am interested in various qualitative methods of analysis for social psychology.
