Background
Emma is a first- year PhD student, originally from Ketchum, Idaho, USA. Emma is an actor, scholar and director specializing in Shakespeare, classical performance styles and Early Modern English literature. As a recent graduate of the Master of Fine Arts in Acting program from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in New York City, Emma is excited to bring her passion for actor training, intermediality and ensemble work to her project. Her research will focus primarily on pedagogical practices, accessibility and examining the process of taking classical works from page to stage for 21st century actors.
