Biography

Background

Stephen graduated from the University of Dundee (MBChB) in 2004, before going on to train as a general practitioner within Tayside. After combining his General Practice work with clinical roles in both professional football and child health for several years, he became increasingly interested and involved in teaching, completing the MSc Clinical Education course at the University of Edinburgh in 2018.

In addition to his role as a Lecturer in Clinical Education at the University of Edinburgh, he is currently the co-lead for undergraduate Clinical Skills at the University of Dundee medical school. He is also a supervising clinician in out-of-hours care for GP trainees within Lothian.
