Background

Having received PhD in Russian from the University of St Andrews, Dr Natalia Samoilova taught various Russian courses at the University of St Andrews, University of Glasgow and University of Edinburgh. The modules she taught include oral and grammar classes, video classes, text analysis, precis, translation, culture tutorials, language lab classes, as well as a course in history of the Russian language. Dr Natalia Samoilova combines university teaching with being a Course Organiser and Head Tutor for the Scotland-Russia Forum languge classes which she organised in 2009.
