Dr Anna Wood

Research Assistant

Research summary

I am a research assistant in the School of Mathematics with a history of delivering successful PTAS projects which have had an impact on the teaching and learning of STEMM subjects at the University of Edinburgh, and which have also led to high quality publications. I developed the original FILL (Framework for Learning in Lectures) tool as well as the CeDAR (Collaborative and Data-Led Approach to Reflection) intervention. I am particularly interested in the teaching and learning of large STEM classes and have recently edited and contributed to a book ‘Effective Teaching in Large STEM Classes’).

Current research interests

I am currently working on a project to help support teacher reflection using a data-led and collaborative approach.
