Background
I am the eProgramme Support Officer for the MSc Clinical Education. I have a key role in supporting students with the non-academic aspects of study so that their time on our programme runs as smoothly as possible. I am keen to make sure that students receive a quick response and a good experience, leaving them free to concentrate on their studies. I find my job rewarding, interesting and really enjoyable.
My role includes:
- Providing support and guidance to students throughout their study
- Supporting our programme staff in the everyday running of the programme
- Being the first point of contact for programme enquiries
- Working closely with the Admissions Tutor to guide applicants through the admissions process
- Setting up student IT accounts for the online software including Learn, Teams and the Student Channel and providing technical support when required
- Maintaining the programme website and updating/uploading course materials, tutorial links and tutorial recordings to Learn
- Producing programme and course documentation
- Managing the student record, including matriculation, course results and the final award
Qualifications
- BA (Hons) Business Studies
- A levels and GCSEs
- NVQ 2 in Customer Care in Education
- Open University course in Managing Personal Finances - to advise HE students on funding
