Background
Left school at 18 in 1972 and trained to be a Chartered Accountant. After a career of 45 years in the City, mainly in the equity markets, retired and went up to Oxford in 2017 as a history undergraduate. Graduated in 2020 and completed a Taught MA in Modern History at the University of Warwick in 2021.
Lives in the Cotswolds, has been a season ticket holder at Fulham FC for over forty years, is a member of the MCC and the England Rugby Travel Club.
