Chiyuan Ding

Background

Chiyuan specialises as a researcher in the areas of emotional intelligence, football coaching performance and physical education at the university of Edinburgh. He delves into comprehending how emotional intelligence significantly contributes to the enhancement of quality coaching performance, emphasising its role in professional growth. Chiyuan holds a Master's in Sport Management from Loughborough University and conducted an analysis on parents' perceptions of the impact of the 'Four-Corners' model of player development in professional football youth academics in England. During his studies, Chiyuan achieved his UEFA B Licence through The FA and spent time to work as a professional development youth academy Goalkeeper Coach at Cambridge United Football Club. There, he collaborated with the Youth Development Technical Director to create and implement targeted training programs for goalkeepers within the 9-13 age group in the youth development phase.
