Bianca Mazzinghi Gori, AFHEA

Background

I grew up in Tuscany, where I attended Liceo Classico and discovered the beauty and paideutic value of Classics. I moved to Pisa when I won a post in Scuola Normale Superiore, with full funding for five-year. As a pupil at SNS, I simultaneously studied at University of Pisa. Thanks to this twofold, parallel course of study (BA and MA), I had the opportunity to do extensive research on Greek Comedy.

During my MA, I expanded my horizons thanks to an Erasmus programme in Warwick University (England). This experience encouraged me to pursue my studies abroad, a dream that became true when I was selected as one of the two fully funded PhD students of the ERC "Honour in Classical Greece" project.
