Aran Nagendran (BVSc DipECVN AFHEA MRCVS)

Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Neurology/Neurosurgery

Background

Aran graduated from University of Bristol in 2012. He worked in general mixed practice for 2 years in the West Midlands. Following this, he completed an rotating internship at the Hospital for Small Animals, University of Edinburgh and a residency in Veterinary Neurology/Neurosurgery at the University of Liverpool. Aran became an EBVS and ECVN accredited specialist in Veterinary Neurology/Neurosurgery in 2020 and continued working as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Liverpool. He has recently undertaken a Clinical and Research Fellowship at North Carolina State University and, as of January 2023 joins the neurology service as Senior Lecturer in Neurology.  Aran has particular interests in neurosurgery, neuroimmunology and neuroimaging, which a particular focus on canine and feline epilepsy.
