Research summary

Interested in Scotland's geomorphology, specifically sediment sources and transport from the hillslopes and river systems. Motivation behind my research includes flood risk (including climate change), river morphology, habitat value, landscape restoration and conversation. Excited to make an impact to our society and natural environment.

Past research interests

Past research topics include a Masters dissertation examining the effects of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake, Nepal, on sediment supply in the Kosi basin. I also studied sediment transport in the River Feshie, Cairngorms, for my fourth year dissertation project.
