Aina, a PhD researcher from Malaysia, embarked on an enlightening journey at Edinburgh Law School in 2022. Her passion lies in studying sex discrimination and equality in the realm of employment. She believes in a world where everyone, regardless of sex, deserves equal opportunities. Her multicultural background enriches her perspective, fueling her commitment to advocate for a fairer, more inclusive society. 


Aina holds a Bachelor of Philosophy, Law and Business from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Master of Law (by research) from the same university where her area of study focused on analysing the philosophical and legal concept of gender equality in the workplace.
