Counselling and Psychotherapy Postgraduate Research Conference

We would like to invite you to our 13th Annual Counselling and Psychotherapy Postgraduate Research Conference The theme of the conference is:

'Troubling Emergence: views from the field'.

The conference is hosted by current postgraduate students at the University of Edinburgh. It will be an opportunity to hear about research projects undertaken by current masters and doctoral students within CPASS at the University of Edinburgh. Student presenters will talk about their research in progress and we hope that this will create opportunities to find out about the range of approaches to research across CPASS.

We also invite Counselling, Psychotherapy and Social Sciences Masters and Doctoral students from other Scottish universities and others working within the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy. All participants will be invited to contribute to discussions about individual papers and counselling research in general, and we hope that this will provide students with valuable feedback as they move forward with their projects.

A detailed programme will be available in due course. The papers cover a wide range of research topics in counselling and psychotherapy, including case studies from counselling work, research on counselling training and research applying the insights of counselling and psychotherapy to other contexts.

There is no charge for attending this conference but please could you register no later than Wednesday 17 April via the booking form.

Please contact Léopoldine Barde, our conference administrator (L.barde@ed.ac.uk) if you need more information.

We look forward to seeing you there!
