MRC Centre for Reproductive Health Director: Jeffrey Pollard
Professor Jeffrey Pollard has been appointed Director of the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health.
Professor Pollard was previously Director of the Centre for the Study of Reproductive Biology and Women's Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
There, he also held the Louis Goldstein Swan Chair in Women's Cancer Research.
He has a distinguished track record with more than 200 publications to his name, including several papers in Nature, JCI and PNAS.
He has unique expertise in in vivo imaging, a superb range of innovative mouse models as well as a strong history of international collaborations.
Professor Jeffrey Pollard has an excellent record in reproductive research that complements the scientific portfolio at the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health so he not only fits very well with existing research strengths but is the ideal candidate to set the centre's future direction.
